The Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre (MCCT) is operated by an eleven-member Board of Directors whom volunteer their time, talents, and passion to the MCCT and serve a three-year term each. Terms are on a rolling basis.

The Board handles all administration, operations, marketing, fundraising, volunteer coordination, and productions for the MCCT. The Town of Mooresville Representative is a non-voting member of the Board and acts as a liaison with Town staff, facilities, programs, and services. The Board is NOT responsible for show casting, which is at the sole discretion of the show’s Director.
Board Members are VOLUNTEERS from the Mooresville community and surrounding areas who believe in the MCCT mission and the benefits and opportunities that theatre gives to children.
We are always looking to expand our production staff so that our actors have the opportunity to work with different work/production styles and teaching methods! The Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre (MCCT) currently is seeking Directors, Stage Managers, Scenic Designers, Costume Designers, Musical Directors, Musicians, and Technical Directors for the 2018 season. MCCT produces a season of three shows for youth ages 6-18. Our winter, spring and summer shows are produced at the Charles Mack Citizen Center, Downtown Mooresville, NC. All production staff are hired on a show-by-show basis and will be paid as independent contractors. Scheduling is flexible depending on the needs of the production. College-Student Directors are encouraged to apply, must be minimum of 21 years old; Stage Managers, Scenic Designers, Costume Designers, Musical Directors, Musicians, and Technical Directors must be minimum of 18 years old.
